1. Hand Washing (Recommended)

The gentle 5-minute method

This is the ideal method for preserving the fiber. Fill a basin with lukewarm water (30°C max) and a pH-neutral detergent. Let it soak for 3 to 5 minutes without rubbing aggressively, then rinse with cold water.

Tip: Never twist silk to remove excess water. Gently press it in a terry towel.

2. Machine Washable (Yes, it's possible)

For those who are short on time

Our 22 Momme pillowcases are durable. You can machine wash them provided you follow two golden rules: always use a laundry bag to avoid snags, and choose the "Delicate" or "Silk" cycle at a maximum of 30°C.

Caution: Never use bleaching agents or powdered laundry detergent.

3. Drying and Ironing

Enemies to avoid

Do not tumble dry: the heat will damage the fibers. Hang your pillowcase to air dry, but in the shade (direct sunlight will fade the color).

To restore a mirror-like shine, iron your pillowcase while still slightly damp on the reverse side, using the "Silk" setting or a soft iron.
